Anthony Ginsberg, a native of Cape Town, South Africa, graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science (Honors). His Honors thesis, “International Tax Havens,” was published by both Butterworths and Prentice Hall/New York Institute of Finance, with a second edition sponsored by Barclays Bank.
Following his tenure at Salomon Brothers (now Citibank) on Wall Street, Anthony became Barclays Bank’s Director for Offshore Services, overseeing Europe, the Caribbean, Southern Africa, Jersey, Guernsey, and Isle of Man.
Currently serving as Managing Director of GinsGlobal Index Funds, Anthony leads a pioneering index product design and asset management company, operating across 10 countries with over $8.5 billion of managed assets.
GinsGlobal has developed innovative index products for renowned financial institutions such as AIG American General, HSBC Bank, and Zurich Financial Group. Anthony’s expertise extends to speaking engagements on global investing and index investing benefits, with frequent appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other media outlets.
He is an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), serving as Chairman of its Financial Services Network and as a Board Member of YPO Southland Gold chapter. Among his authored books are “International Tax Planning” and “South Africa’s Future: From Crisis to Prosperity”.
